Newcastle business owners feature prominently among the clients of Growthwise, an accounting firm that reviews show handles tax preparation, bookkeeping and business management consulting, plus advice on navigating a pandemic-era grant application. The expertise and guidance on offer recurs as a theme, with several customers describing how the team challenged them to rethink how their operations could run. Named staff members Steph and Beau are thanked for their patience and for going beyond what was expected.

Several accounts note the clarity they gained about how their business was performing and the steady expansion they achieved while keeping control of their lifestyle. A smoother tax season is another recurring point, as is the professionalism and forward-looking outlook of the accountants. Long-standing clients describe relationships measured in years rather than months, and the support is characterised as genuine and attentive.

The practice is described as suited to local enterprises at whatever stage they have reached, from newer ventures through to established operations seeking sustainable growth. Particular value is placed on being challenged to think differently about the future of a business rather than simply having the books balanced and the paperwork completed, a point that comes up often among those who have worked with the firm over an extended period.
