Shoebox Books Wagga Wagga

Shoebox Books & Tax is an award-winning bookkeeping and tax franchise group that operates as a network of small businesses. Nicole Keys is the Wagga Wagga bookkeeper and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Business (Finance). The Wagga Wagga service area includes Wagga Wagga, Junee, Cootamundra, Gundagai, and Tumut. Bookkeeping services include accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, BAS preparation and lodgement, debt and cashflow management, payroll management, and software training.

BAS preparation and lodgement is included in all bookkeeping packages. The most popular bookkeeping package includes quarterly consultations, quarterly BAS lodgement, monthly data entry, reconciliation of two bank accounts, and payroll processing for two employees. The company offers fixed-cost packages and a complimentary consultation for new clients.

Bookkeeping and payroll support forms the core of what this practice delivers, and the feedback gathered from clients centres squarely on the person carrying out that work. Nicole is named in every account, and the theme that runs through them is her readiness to be contacted, whether by phone or email, and the sense that no request is treated as an imposition.

A number of customers describe her as knowledgeable and current with the software she works in, with one noting the depth of guidance provided when setting up a business in Xero, uncovering functionality that would otherwise have taken a long time to locate independently. Being upfront and organised is mentioned by another client, while a further reviewer highlights her role as a mentor to those learning accounting software systems. Her friendly and welcoming manner is credited with putting clients at ease, and the combination of professionalism and approachability recurs across the accounts.

The assistance given to businesses with their books and payroll is described as thorough, with clients expressing steady appreciation for the support provided to their operations. The consistency of these remarks suggests a practice built on personal attention rather than a transactional approach, with Nicole's availability and depth of knowledge standing out as the qualities clients return to most often.
