Talbots Chartered Accountants

Talbots Chartered Accountants is described by clients as a practice whose Bathurst office proved difficult to reach in practice. Several reviewers report that appointments confirmed ahead of time were not honoured, arriving to find the premises shut and nobody answering calls, while another describes weeks of unanswered emails and phone messages before learning the business had entered administration. A recurring theme is the gap between the advertised local presence and the reality, with clients noting the practice appears to operate out of Sydney and is not consistently staffed locally, leaving booked tax work uncompleted and client funds tied up while external processes run their course.

A number of reviews mention the absence of communication before and after an engagement, with calls and correspondence going without reply for extended periods. Tax preparation is the service those clients had sought, and the office's continued advertising while clients were left without answers comes up more than once. The account is one of unfulfilled bookings, unanswered contact and unresolved tax work rather than completed engagements.
