AMA Tax Accountants and Bookkeepers is an accounting firm founded in 2013 by Ama Abeywickrama, who is the Founder and CEO. The firm was previously known as SA Tax and Bookkeeping Services Pty Ltd and currently has an office in Hillcrest. Ama holds a Master’s in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and is a Fellow IPA Accountant, Registered Tax Agent, certified Bookkeeper, ASIC agent and Public Accountant.

She has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and tax, having migrated to Australia in 2010 and started her career as a tax consultant in 2011. Ama completed her bachelor’s degree in Sri Lanka and continued her studies in Australia after migrating. She has also completed her highest studies in music and plays the violin and flute. Roshani Tissera is a Tax consultant at the firm, holding Fellow Member of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Associate Member of Chartered Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, an MBA from University of Southern Queensland – Australia and a Second Class Accountancy Degree at University of Kelaniya – Sri Lanka.

Roshani has more than 20 years of work experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, treasury management and consultation for business engineering processes. Harsha Seelaman is a BAS Agent/Bookkeeper and Marie De Silva is a Receptionist. The firm specialises in a variety of Tax, BAS, Bookkeeping services and SMSF Setup, and provides accounting and bookkeeping support that can replace a client's back office. The firm's liability is limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation.
