Heart Bookkeeping Hobart

Heart Bookkeeping was founded in 2015 by Jaime Bates, who is the founder and senior client manager. The team includes 16 named members. Heart Bookkeeping specialises in bookkeeping and cash management solutions for small business owners. It offers bookkeeping, payroll, business compliance, rescue bookkeeping, and cashflow management services. Heart Bookkeeping serves clients in Lismore, Hobart, Sunshine Coast, and Australia-wide. It is a Xero partner and builds its business around Xero. Its bookkeepers are trained and supported by qualified accountants.

Heart Bookkeeping Hobart draws consistent praise from clients who describe the firm as responsive, well organised and genuinely invested in the businesses it supports. Reviewers frequently point to the seamless handover of their bookkeeping and the smooth shift to working for themselves, with several noting how promptly queries are answered and how clearly financial information is explained. The team's command of Xero comes up often, and one client's accountant even remarks on how well-maintained the file is.

Named staff including Jaime, Linda, Elise and Leanne are singled out for their friendly, approachable manner, their attention to detail and their willingness to walk clients through unfamiliar territory. Customers value the breadth of services on offer, describing a comprehensive package that includes database updates and maintenance scheduling alongside the core bookkeeping work, and they characterise the pricing as reasonable relative to what they previously paid.

Small business owners note that the firm takes the stress out of their accounting, delivering efficient, accurate results and implementing systems that keep service standards high across the team. Reviewers describe the experience as professional and supportive, with thorough and well-informed assistance on even the most awkward questions, and a level of care that makes complex finances easier to follow.
