Called to book an appointment to do some taxation planning and Ian told me that they are legally unable to do taxation planning. And that I would have to go to a financial planner. Ian said I am only able to go to a financial planner and that would cost me $4,000 to $5,000. I just wanted to know how to meet my taxation obligations and plan to not have a tax debt. Edit for response: When I go to a police station i am seeking the police. When I go to a hospital I am seeking a doctor. When I go to an accountant i am not asking for their financial planning advice. I am wanting to explore tax minimisation strategies and sage tax advice. Both things I did not receive. Your obviously not interested in my business and why would I call back to a person who did not listen the first time. Thats how bad tax returns happen.
