Beam Bookkeeping was formed by the combination of BookSmart and Biz Synergy. It provides fully online, outsourced bookkeeping services to businesses across Australia, and works with businesses across Newcastle, Maitland and the Hunter. Beam Bookkeeping is an Accredited Happy Workplace through BU Happiness College. Debbie Mirisch is a Director with over 25 years' experience in accounting, a registered BAS Agent, a Certified Xero Advisor, a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, holds a Bachelor of Commerce, and is a member of the Maitland Business Chamber.

Katie McCool is the Managing Director, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Newcastle, is a Certified Xero Advisor, is Xero Payroll Certified, is a Member of the Australian Bookkeepers Network, and has been Receiptbank/Dext Champion Certified since 2015.
