⭐ 1 Star. Would Give Zero Stars If I Could My experience with SB Partners has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. I recently received a debt collection notice for a brief 10 minute “pre tax return catch-up” that I was never told would incur a fee, let alone a charge of over $700, not even including the cost of the actual tax return. Had this been disclosed upfront, I absolutely would not have attended. Not only did this meeting provide no useful or relevant advice toward my tax return, but it also added to a pattern I’ve experienced over the past year: costly, inaccurate recommendations that have left me out of pocket with no benefit. In my case, I was advised to set up a company, something they advised would cost $1,100, which I did myself, but which ultimately wasn’t needed (they said) and wasn’t utilised at all. This decision, based entirely on their advice, has cost me expense, time and delivered zero savings or value. To then be contacted by a debt collector for a fee after expressing how dissatisfied I was with not being told there would be a fee, was the final straw. Poor communication. No explanation. No transparency. Greed driven. In my personal experience, SB Partners has cost me money, provided advice that hasn’t helped me in any meaningful way, and failed to communicate fees clearly. I walked away feeling misled, unsupported, and extremely frustrated. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend SB Partners and would give zero stars if I could.
