CBG Partners is an accounting and business advisory firm based in Mackay. Its history traces back to F.S. Williams & Co, started by Stanley Williams in the 1930s, and renamed Poole Williams in the same decade. Stanley Williams' daughter Sybil was the first female accountant and auditor in Mackay. Colleton Business Group acquired Poole Williams Accountants in 2003. In 2007, Poole Williams entered a business partnership with Kern Group, a merger that included Poole Williams, Mackay Business Services and Mackay Accountants & Advisors. Kern Group expanded into Cairns and Brisbane.

In 2015, the company left the Kern Group affiliation and formed the Colleton Business Group and CBG Partners. CBG Partners is an ownership and management team of two partners and 16 professional and support staff. Kevin Colleton holds a BA Commerce, is a Registered Tax Agent, a Fellow of CPA Australia, and specialises in Strategic Management, Business Planning, and Superannuation. Tamara McMillan holds a BA Business (Accounting), has been a Member of CPA since 2007, is a Registered Tax Agent, and is the small and medium enterprise specialist. CBG Partners is a Xero & MYOB Platinum Partner.
